A digital experience for a Dutch breakfast industry leader

The Dutch company Bolletje produces various kinds of bread alternatives and baked goods, such as crackers and cookies. They are best known for their breakfast products which have won a special place in Dutch culture.

However, the success of their breakfast products meant they were mainly known as a breakfast brand. The other products in their portfolio were put in the shade, and therefore their sales were not reaching their full potential.
The challenge was to broaden the brand's storytelling to show their full range, without damaging the success of the breakfast items.

At Smaac we redesigned their website to take you on a whole day's journey, showcasing the full range of products. An informative website with beautiful in-house produced photography that brings your taste buds alive. The website was also brought into the 21st century by adding live social streams that increase brand transparency and likeability.
